Depth Without Noise
Blue Horizon started as a question: how much can you remove before meaning disappears? The answer turned out to be more than expected. This web identity strips navigation, color, and ornamentation down to their minimum — leaving only depth and space. The result is a digital environment that feels calm by design, not by accident.
Building the Experience
The design system centers on a single blue — not navy, not sky, but the precise tone of deep coastal water at midday. From there, everything was reduced: one typeface, two weights, three layout templates. The website uses scroll-linked opacity transitions to create the sensation of moving through water rather than clicking through pages. Load times were treated as a design constraint, ensuring the minimal feel carries through to performance.
