Where Warmth Becomes a System

Orange Lab is a branding study built around one premise: what happens when a single color does all the work. Rather than using orange as an accent, this project treats it as architecture the structural foundation of a visual identity that feels raw, immediate, and alive. Every decision, from typography weight to spatial rhythm, was made to amplify or resist that one frequency.

Process and Outcome

The project began with a week of monochromatic exploration every sketch, every layout, every type test rendered exclusively in orange and black. This constraint forced unconventional solutions: contrast came from weight and scale rather than hue, and hierarchy emerged through proportion rather than palette. The final system includes a logo mark, type scale, stationery, and a set of environmental applications all coherent, all unmistakable, and all built from the same single starting point.
